#GivingTuesday Goes To The Dogs

Tomorrow is a big day for non-profit organizations across the country.

It’s GIVING TUESDAY!

This is the 7th year of the movement and its ripple effect continues to grow. The idea is simple…we spend so much money over the holidays, why not spend some where it matters most…helping others in need!

Now let’s be honest, Giving Tuesday should be 365 days a year…but I’ll take 1 day as a start =)

So that leads me to the point of this post. Most of my friends are dogs, cats or dog and cat rescuers and they need your help! 501C3 organizations (also known as non-profits) do not generally make ANY money. They spend it to better the world and rely solely on donations. That’s why tomorrow is so vital to all of them.

In fact, many organizations are now utilizing “matching” grants to help your money make even more of an impact. For example, Facebook will be matching up to $7 Million dollars of donations made on their site tomorrow…WOW!
